"I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself."--"And if we can accept that a mother can kill her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?"--Mother Teresa

"By abortion the Mother does not learn to love, but kills her own child to solve her problems. And, by abortion, that father is told that he does not have to take any responsibilty at all for the child he has brought into the world. The father is likely to put other women to the same trouble. So abortion leads to more abortion."--Mother Teresa

"Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use violence to get what they want. That is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion""Any country that accepts abortion is the poorest of the poor"--Mother Teresa

"Many people are concerned with children of India, with the children of Africa where quite a few die of hunger, and so on. Many people are also concerned about the violence in this great country of the United States. These concerns are very good. But often these same people are not concerned with the millions being killed by the deliberate decision of their own mothers. And this is the greatest destroyer of peace today- abortion which brings people to such blindness."--Mother Teresa

@ind20000 You're pathetic!

@UnplannedPregnancy It would be nicer if everyone got what they needed, but that's not the world we live in.

@UnplannedPregnancy Maybe I would have conceded graciously if you had written a gracious comment. Like I already said, self-righteousness sickens me, and everything you wrote, and even the tone of what was written oozes with it. You could have easily written a calm message responding to what I said about Mother Teresa.Saying "I guess you are just not big enough" is about the most self-righteous thing you can say. I will not be reading any of your comments as they will not have anything new.

@ind20000 "Poor and need women get abortions"--Which would be the most ideal scenario? That poor and needy women abort because they feel they are FORCED because they have NO alternative..or they have ALL the help they made need made available to enable them to keep their baby or have it adopted?--It is abortion that I am demonizing here.. NOT "poor and needy people"....
UnplannedPregnancy (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@ind20000 @ind20000 If you are involved in humanitarian then work why on earth would you need to bitch in such an IGNORANT and ILL INFORMED manner about Mother Teresa's organisation? Or is that just YOU being "high and mighty and selfrighteous"?--Oh and why after my first hand affirmations that your information is inaccurate do you attack further instead of conceding graciously that you were wrong?I guess you are just not big enough..sigh...

@UnplannedPregnancy "Poor and needy" women get abortions but I guess they aren't poor and needy enough in your eyes since you're demonizing abortion. And you know nothing about me, I don't sit on my ass doing nothing, I've been involved in humanitarian work for over half my life so stop trying to act so high and mighty. Self-righteousness sickens me and you seem to be full of it. Have a nice day. |
